After over a year of being next door in the hospital, our friend Matthew was joined by a team of medical professionals for a visit back “home” to our House. His break from the hospital was met by our RMH family waiting for him.

Overwhelmed by joy, Matthew’s tears and smiles lifted more spirits that day than his own. You can join in on this moment and see a clip of his return here! Matthew and his family have spent over 1,140 nights with since January of 2017. While they must be in Cincinnati, we will be here, thanks to you. You can see more precious moments of him going to his room and favorite places in our House during the time he was able to get out of the hospital.

Thank you for helping us be here for families like Matthew’s. Getting a patient out of ICU for any amount of time is difficult, so knowing he chose to spend that time in our House shows how much it means to him and gives him a sense of being “home” when he is far from his own.
